Fuel costs after the new excise duty cut: diesel returns above 2 euros per litre

The price of petrol falls while that of diesel rises after the reduction of the excise duty cut. The Ministry of Business and Made in Italy announces that, based on the latest data collected by the Mimit Observatory on fuel prices, today the average price of fuel in self-service mode along the national road network is equal to 1.913 euros per liter for petrol (down from 1.917 euros yesterday) and 2.020 euros per liter for diesel (up from 2.004 euros yesterday). On the motorway network, however, the average self-service price is 2.010 euros per liter for petrol and 2.101 euros per liter for diesel.
