Reggina beats Acireale in the thirty-second round of the Serie D Italian Cup. The amaranths make a comeback at the Granillo. It was the former man in charge who led the Sicilians forward Kremenovichable to get a header on the development of a corner on which the amaranth markings were anything but impeccable.
The deficit, which came shortly after the half hour mark, gave a shock to the home team who immediately found the equaliser. He accomplished it Porcinogood at scoring with his heel on a ball that had remained loose after his first attempt on a cross from Mariano.
In the second half Reggina went from 4-3-3 to 3-5-2. Barranco’s arrival alongside Curiale gave him greater attacking power and minute after minute he began to have several scoring chances.
He scored the goal that ensured passage to the next round Barranco. The Argentine received the ball at the limit and unloaded a right-footed shot which the opposing goalkeeper was unable to ensure an effective opposition.
