Nicola Schimio, 80 years old, from the Badia hamlet, has passed away. The elderly gentleman left his home yesterday and lost track of himself. Mayor Pantaleone Mercuri raised the alarm today who also invited anyone wishing to contribute to the research to show up tomorrow morning, at 7 am, in Badia, in via Nuova, number 35.

From the various testimonies collected, it seems that the last place where the eighty-year-old was spotted was on the slopes of the old five-a-side football pitch in the small hamlet. “Today, under the coordination of the Fire Brigade – says the mayor – searches were started, but unfortunately still without any results”. The appointment with the volunteers scheduled tomorrow morning will start a new phase of research with the hope of being able to find Mr. Schimio in good physical condition. “Let us remember that the community is strengthened in times of need – declares Mercuri -. This is the time to give your contribution and help.” The hope is that there may be good news soon.
