For months and months they unduly receive citizenship income; then, suddenly, the windfall ends and the ax of the Carabinieri of the local Station Command falls on seventeen non-regular earners who, under the careful coordination of Dr. Camillo Falvo, prosecutor of the Republic of Vibo, put an end to an alleged fraud against the Treasury.
For all the people involved in the investigations, the preventive seizure of assets with a total value of 285 thousand euros was started. The military personnel of the Carabinieri have, in fact, notified the Judge’s provision for the preliminary investigations to all the seventeen subjects called into question who, according to the results of the first investigations, have for a long time been pocketing sums not due to them.
The seals were placed on 65 current accounts, 6 properties, land and three cars. The alleged perpetrators will have to clarify their position and answer before the investigating judge of the Court of Vibo for aggravated fraud and ideological falsity in public documents. The work of the Benemerita men has been going on for some time and the results obtained are the result of extensive investigative activities which have involved checks and verifications of documents, current accounts, postal savings books, work positions and assets, as well as family situations.
