“Several dozen” Russian nuclear warheads have already been deployed in Belarus, as announced by President Alexander Lukashenko, quoted by Tass. In the event of an attack on Belarus, Minsk and Moscow will immediately respond with all types of weapons, Lukashenko added, Ria Novosti reports.
The president also said that 120,000 Ukrainian soldiers are massed on the border with Belarus and that there is a “high probability of armed provocations by Ukrainian units that could lead to an escalation with border incidents.”
