At least 15 people died and 50 others were injured in a train derailment in Pakistan. The incident occurred in the southern province of Sindh. “Around 7 or 8 carriages of the Hazara Express derailed and overturned near Nawab Shah district in Sindh,” confirmed Mahmood-ur-Rehman, a Pakistani railway official. Local police say 50 injured passengers have been transferred to a nearby hospital and rescue operations are still ongoing. The train was en route to Rawalpindi city in Punjab from Sindh province. The cause of the accident is unknown at the moment.
