Melito clan and “Lombard system”: links with Camorra and Cosa Nostra

At the center there would almost always have been Giancarlo Vestiti, a man from the Sienese clan and a link in the so-called “Lombard system” between the Camorra, Cosa Nostra and ‘Ndrangheta gangs in Lombardy. The Catania justice collaborator William Alfonso Cerbo speaks about Clothes and the links with exponents of Calabrian organized crime, confirming the investigative hypothesis of the Milan DDA which merged into the “Hydra” investigation, in which 143 people are accused, 48 of whom are accused of mafia association.
In the reports released to public prosecutors Alessandra Cerreti and Michelangelo Ferracane, the scammer linked to the Mazzei family of Catania speaks, among other things, of Vestiti’s relationships with leading exponents of the ‘ndrangheta in Lombardy: Giuseppe Calabrò known as “U Dutturicchiu”, for drug trafficking, Santo and Filippo Crea for scams and the management of clean entrepreneurs to be “squeezed”; and Ciccio Palamara: «Giancarlo (Vestiti ed.) – explains Cerbo referring to Palamara – told me that he was in charge in Milan for the ‘Ndrangheta and so on».
