This afternoon, in the Representative Hall of the Government Palace, the Prefect, Cosima Di Stani, awarded the Honors of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, conferred by Decree of the President of the Republic of 2 June 2023, to the honorees resident in this province, who have distinguished themselves for civil commitment, dedication to work and sense of duty.
The honor of Officer was conferred on the CS Lieutenant Antonino Scibilia of the Carabinieri and the honors of Knights to Mr. Luigi Andòretired journalist, to Lieutenant CS Giovanni Barresi of the Carabinieri, to the Frigate Captain Antonio Davì and to the First Marshal Giuseppe Mario Mento of the Navy, to the Lieutenant. Massimo La Fauci of the Port Authority of Messina, to the Arch. Grazia Maria MarulloManager of the Municipality of Messina in command at the structure of the Commissioner for the rehabilitation of the slums of the city of Messina and to Dr. Maurizio Molluraofficial serving at the Prefecture of Messina.
On the occasion, which was attended by the Mayors of the municipalities of Messina, Milazzo and Spadafora, as well as the heads of the civil and military authorities, the Commissioner for the rehabilitation of slums and the Regional President of the National Association of Knights OMRI, the Prefect congratulated the recipients, highlighting the prestige and importance of the honor conferred.
