Catanzaro Servizi will soon be knocking on the doors (and wallets) of boaters to pay the salaries of the workers on duty at the port. The subsidiary company of Palazzo De Nobili is in fact “indirectly” dealing with the piers of the two port bodies of water which ended up at the center of the tug-of-war between the Municipality and Carmar after the failure of the Heritage sector to renew the concession, which expired at the end of January. An affair that also ended up at the center of a criminal investigation, with the seizure of the piers themselves on 10 June by the Coast Guard, precisely for the occupation of the area in the absence of the concession title. The structures were then entrusted to the mayor Nicola Fiorita who is still their judicial custodian today. At the time of the sealing, the mayor found himself having to deal with the management of the two bodies of water, which remained usable for boaters. Four Carmar employees take care of the various nautical services, seconded by the Crotone company to Catanzaro Servizi which has so far advanced the payment of salaries.
