«Reggio Calabria cannot fail to have a trade fair area, the only one present in the city has been replaced by a playground: we have chosen to replace the strategic investment with leisure». Giuseppe Barbaro, regional delegate of Copagri, has been arguing on this point for some years. The conversion of the former Pentimele fair area into a large green park, decided by the Falcomatà administration, has left the city without a commercial and exhibition space. A fatal mistake for Barbaro, who today returns to ask to remedy that choice by identifying another area where the city fair area can be located.
