After the defeat against Juve comes the one against league leaders Inter. Sassuolo stops the run – so far with full points – of Simone Inzaghi’s team who thus suffer their first defeat of the new season: the architect of the feat was the Emilian team led by Dionisi who, after having mistreated the Bianconeri, took the surprise victory over Inter. And he does it by overturning the result, because Dumfries he had unlocked it in injury time in the first half, but in the second half Bajrami equalizes and then takes care of it as usual Berardi to pull off the comeback. A slowdown, that of Inter, which allows Milan – victorious over an increasingly desolate Cagliari at the bottom of the table – to reach the top at 15 points. Napoli smiles who chases away the ghosts by overwhelming Udinese 4-1: Zielinski scored and also Osimhen who responded to the tensions of these hours by signing the temporary doubling of the Italian champions. There is then room for Kvaratskhelia: the Georgian gets the ovation from Maradona, who instead had been rather cold when Osimhen entered the pitch. Samardzic the flash – useless – of the Friulians, while Simeone closes it by delivering three precious points also for the serenity of Garcia, protagonist of a start that was anything but downhill. Victory chases away the crisis for Lazio too, who after the draw with Monza, managed to impose themselves on Juric’s Turin: Vecino unblocked them at the start of the second half, Zaccagni scored the 2-0. And after Juventus Milan also scored three points, beating a disappointing Cagliari, who remained last in the standings as Empoli shook themselves and found their first points at the expense of a modest Salernitana. While waiting for Fiorentina, Atalanta continues its progress with regularity, winning narrowly, but deservedly, at Verona.
