Cosenza is the queen of table football. While AS Cosenza enjoys the leadership in group B of Serie C, with the title of winter champion already in its pocket, Bruzia continues to surprise in group A, where it occupies third place alone. A result never achieved before in the history of the club.
AS Cosenza, escape to the top of group B
AS Cosenza is looking down on everyone from the top of the table: five points ahead of Atletico Pisa, second strength in the group, and nine points ahead of third, Mestre and Arezzo. Numbers that certify a first round of the highest level and a solid leadership, built day after day.
Bruzia, a third place that makes history
In group A, Bruzia experiences an equally significant season. The solo third place represents the highest point ever achieved by the club. A result resulting from a well-integrated group, strengthened by the arrival of the two players from Campania Edoardo Ermione and Alessandro Primo Ottone, who completed an already competitive team.
The rest of the team is made up of Fabio Rosselli, the expert Luigi Grillo, who also holds the role of coach, and the emerging Fabio Abate, protagonist of constant growth.
Play offs in the sights, without giving up on the dream
At this point of the season, the declared minimum objective becomes access to the play offs. The gap from the first in the standings is eight points: not few, but not prohibitive either. Analyzing the results of the first round, the wolves seem to be missing at least six points, left on the street between episodes and unexploited opportunities.
With a pinch of imagination and a bit of good luck, the playoffs appear within reach. The greatest certainties come from the expected performances of Alessandro Ottone and Fabio Abate, both clearly improving and called to make a continuous impact in the second part of the season.
Bruzia remains a pleasant reality in the championship: the primary objective remains a peaceful stay in the category, but without any prohibition on dreaming.
