Busy afternoon for the technicians of the Sila Camigliatello Alpine Rescue Station of the Calabria Alpine and Speleological Rescue – CNSAS. After an initial alert, in the early afternoon of today, Tuesday 8 October, for three missing in the Fossiata area (Sila National Park), research resolved by the technicians of the Alpine Rescue of the Guardia di Finanza (SAGF) of the Cosenza station, a new alert has arisen, from the Prefecture of Cosenza, for a mushroom farmer lost in an inaccessible area in the municipality of Acri. The 85-year-old man had gone out in the morning with his nephew to look for mushrooms but did not return home. A team of technicians from the CNSAS Calabria together with technicians from the SAGF are involved in the research of the mushroom farmer.
The 85-year-old mushroom farmer emerged, independently, on a road in the Gioia Soprano area in the municipality of Acri. The man, in good condition, although tired, is entrusted to the 118 health workers for the necessary checks.
The technicians of the Sila Camigliatello Alpine Station intervened together with the technicians of the Alpine Rescue of the Guardia di Finanza (SAGF) of the Cosenza Station.
