The best match to reconcile the siesta that follows Sunday lunches. A 0-0 in which yawns take the place of scoring opportunities between two teams who weren’t doing well before and aren’t doing much now either. In the final Pigliacelli becomes the protagonist with a couple of saves, but it didn’t take much for Salernitana to produce something more than a Catanzaro careful not to reveal himself, but almost disinterested in attacking, especially in the second half: in 99 minutes just two conclusions from the Giallorossi, none between the posts. The “first don’t take it” executed at the highest level, only that one cannot be satisfied if the long-awaited turning point is still postponed.
