Third place overall for the Vibo team ASD Tropheum at the Winter Karate Cup Calabria, a regional trophy organized by CSEN. The patron of the event, master Vito Greto, regional Karate representative of the CSEN Calabria Regional Committee, welcomed the 17 participating teams from all over Calabria to the new building in Soverato, in the province of Catanzaro. And among these, the Costa degli dei team, coached by maestro Antonio La Torre, performed well with its 16 athletes. The event turned into a true sports festival, thanks to the professionalism of the match officials and CSEN jury presidents, coordinated by Francesco Salerno and Stefano Bosco and assisted by a group of FIJLKAM federal referees. The team of referees managed to manage an intense day, marked by over 455 matches spread over the entire day of Sunday 25 January, and characterized by a constantly growing technical level. At the opening, the regional president of CSEN Antonio Caira, together with the coach Alessio Gualtieri, and the teacher Vito Greto brought the greetings of the president of the CSEN Committee of Catanzaro, Francesco De Nardo, absent due to institutional commitments linked to the sports promotion body.
