Our task is to simplify, collaborating with local authorities to respond concretely to the needs of citizens and businesses ».

The meeting, hosted in the regional citadel, saw the participation of numerous Calabrian administrators, together with the president of the Region Roberto Occhiutoto the Undersecretary inside Wanda Ferroto the vice -president with delegation to digitization Filippo Pietropaolo and to the mayor of Catanzaro Nicola Fiorita.

Two thematic panels: one dedicated to the administrative capacity of local authorities, the other to simplify for businesses. The public consultation is also at the center of the debate “Your voice matters”designed to collect suggestions and points of view of PA users.

Zangrillo He underlined the importance of merit within the public system: “Today there is no real measurement of the merit. Everyone is evaluated as excellent, but citizens do not perceive us like this. We are working to build a system based on concrete results, which returns confidence in the administrative action ».

Regarding public contracts, the minister recalled the total allocations of 20 billion between 2023 and 2024 to cover the contractual rounds 2022-2024, 2025-2027 and 2028-2030: “A historical commitment, never recorded first in the Republic”. And he has not spared a stocked to the most critical unions: “Those who today resist, are not doing union, but politics”.

Another key point was the PNRRdefined by the minister “a not only economic, but also methodological opportunity”. With an allocation of 1.3 billion for the digitization of the PA, 800 million have already been engaged. The sense of urgency, imposed by the plan, was interpreted as a positive stimulus to innovate and accelerate the processes.
