The conference of services ends with a positive outcome. Institutions and sectors have given the green light, the Pinqua projects take a decisive step towards implementation. A path to promote an urban vision that combines environmental protection with quality of living. Three maxi-projects that intervene in some of the areas that have sadly become a symbol of socio-environmental degradation. Interventions of 45 million euros financed through the Pnrr funds, therefore subject to strict deadlines.

It is no coincidence that the Municipality, which has created an ad hoc department, entrusted to the architect Elisa Zoccali, has signed a program agreement with Invitalia to speed up the planning times. So now the next step will be the call for tenders for the assignment of the works. On paper, there are three maxi-projects for 45 million euros. But in the implementation phase, 9 integrated interventions will be carried out for an investment in the territory that reaches 54 million. The Pinqua, thanks to the great opportunity of the Pnrr, will give a new face to the most difficult neighborhoods of the city.

In fact, the resources of the National Innovative Program for the Quality of Living are added to the Fund for Non-Deferrable Works, the tool implemented by the Ministry (within the limits of the annual budget allocations) to deal with the increased costs of building materials. There are 3 Pinqua, each divided into 3 other sub-projects. These are integrated projects.

“We intervene in public spaces, in hectares of greenery, on roads, on housing. In each one we measure with different problems. In Arghillà, where work is planned on two blocks of public housing buildings, during inspections we realized that there were problems of infiltration that had not emerged. It makes no sense to think of energy efficiency with thermal insulation if that is not solved” explained Councilor Zoccali during the listening phase preparatory to the design.
